A Small Text Generator is a free online tool that converts your regular text into various Unicode text styles. Unlike font generators that require specific fonts to be installed, this tool uses special Unicode characters that look like smaller, superscript, subscript, bold, italic, or stylized versions of regular letters — including the ultra-small Tiny Text characters.
These unique text styles can be copied and pasted anywhere that supports Unicode — including social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Discord, and messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram. No special software or fonts needed.

The universal standard that makes small text styles possible.
Unicode is a universal character encoding standard created in the late 1980s to solve a fundamental problem: every computer system was using its own incompatible way to represent text. Before Unicode, a character like "A" could have completely different numeric codes on different platforms, leading to garbled text and data corruption across systems.
The Unicode Consortium, founded in 1991, developed a unified system that assigns a unique number — called a code point — to every character across all writing systems. From Latin letters to Chinese characters, from emoji to mathematical symbols, each gets its own permanent address in the Unicode standard. Today, Unicode supports over 149,000 characters covering 161 scripts.
What makes Unicode special for our small text generator is that it includes dedicated blocks for stylized characters. The Phonetic Extensions block contains Small Capital Letters, the Superscripts and Subscripts block holds elevated and lowered characters, and the Modifier Tone Letters block provides ultra-small Tiny Text characters. When you convert text with our tool, we simply map each character to its corresponding stylized code point — no font tricks, no CSS, just pure Unicode.
Small caps (small capitals) are uppercase letters that are sized to the height of lowercase letters.
Small caps are a typographic feature where uppercase letters are displayed at approximately the height of lowercase letters while maintaining their uppercase form. In Unicode, small capital letters are found in the Phonetic Extensions block (U+1D00–U+1DBF), providing a complete set of small capital variants for the Latin alphabet.
The small caps style is created by mapping each regular uppercase letter to its corresponding Unicode small capital character. For example, "A" becomes "ᴀ", "B" becomes "ʙ", and so on. This mapping is done entirely through Unicode character codes — no HTML tags, no CSS styling, just pure text characters that can be copied and pasted anywhere.
To generate small caps text, simply type your text into our small text generator above, and the Small Caps style will be instantly available. Click to copy, then paste it into your Instagram bio, Twitter username, Discord nickname, or anywhere else you want to add a touch of typographic elegance.
Learn more about Small Caps Generator →Superscript characters are smaller, raised versions of letters and numbers used for exponents, footnotes, and decorative text.
Superscript is a typographic feature where characters are displayed smaller and raised above the normal line of text. In Unicode, superscript characters are found in the Superscripts and Subscripts block (U+2070–U+209F), which includes superscript digits, letters, and common symbols.
Unicode provides dedicated superscript characters for numbers (⁰¹²³⁴⁵⁶⁷⁸⁹), some letters (ᵃᵇᶜᵈᵉᶠᵍʰⁱʲᵏˡᵐⁿᵒᵖʳˢᵗᵘᵛʷˣʸᶻ), and mathematical symbols (⁺⁻⁼⁽⁾). When you convert text with our generator, each character is mapped to its corresponding superscript Unicode code point, creating text that appears elevated and smaller than regular text.
Superscript text is perfect for social media bios, display names, and captions where you want to stand out. Our superscript generator makes it easy to create raised text for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Discord. Just type your text, copy the superscript version, and paste it wherever you like.

Subscript is a typographic feature where characters are displayed smaller and lowered below the normal line of text. In Unicode, subscript characters are found in the Superscripts and Subscripts block (U+2070–U+209F), which includes subscript digits, letters, and common symbols.
Unicode provides dedicated subscript characters for numbers (₀₁₂₃₄₅₆₇₈₉), some letters (ₐₑₕᵢⱼₖₗₘₙₒₚᵣₛₜᵤᵥₓ), and mathematical symbols (₊₋₌₍₎). When you convert text with our generator, each character is mapped to its corresponding subscript Unicode code point, creating text that appears lowered and smaller than regular text.
Subscript text is great for creating unique social media profiles, usernames, and captions. Our subscript generator converts your regular text into subscript Unicode characters that can be pasted into Instagram bios, TikTok captions, Discord nicknames, and more. The subscript style adds a subtle, distinctive look to your text.
